Barbara Kay O’Connor passed away on July 22, 2024. Kay was a devote member of the Nanjemoy Volunteer Fire Department Auxiliary for more than 35 years.

Thanks to the Command Staff of the NVFD and the Department of Emergency Services the county has placed a 24/7 BLS/ALS ambulance in our station. We take pride on protecting our community and this is another step to making sure our citizens are safe.
